i just sold my kenwood excelon ddx812 to buy something different. i put the factory back in until i get something else but having it back in made me realize i kinda missed havin it. so i'm gonna keep it in for a long while.
i got 2 12" kicker comps upfiring in a sealed enclosure. some low end subs but these boys can hit pretty good. i'm runnin rockford rosgate prime series 500x1 mono block & 300x4 for the cabin. tax seasons around the corner so i'll be switchin out my box to a dual 10" front firing enclosure. i hear it supposed to be the loudest setup you can go with because of the mounting depth you're able to get. not sure about the subs yet. too many to choose from but i'll definitly post pics when all is complete.

This is where my new addiction comes in! :)
I've had different "stages" for my audio set up, but here is my most current one.
Kenwood eXcelon DDX814
Boston Acoustic Components up front
Boston Acoustic Coaxials in the rear
PDX 4.100 4 Channel amp for the mids/highs
Rockford Fostgate 1500-1 BD mono amp for the subs
2 12" FI SSD D1s subwoofers
Temporary box for now, but my brother will build a downfire box for this set up to try
Monster RCA cables, Stinger 4 gauge amp kit
I still want to lay 1 or 0 gauge wiring, 2 7" headrest monitors, and mat the entire truck

I already have the iPOD OEM adapter that connects directly to the RF System. My next step is to upgrade the sub under the driver seat along with an amp.

- Pioneer AVH-4100DVD
- Pioneer ipod adapter
- 160gb iPod
- Pioneer Sirius Satellite tuner
- Pioneer HD radio tuner
- Pioneer Bluetooth adaptor
- Hertz 6.5" Components front
- Boston 6.5" rear
- Boston G1 10" subs
- tech12 custom sub enclosure
- Alpine amps
- Eclipse BEC106 backup camera
all in all a system that rocks the shit out of my cabin and everything is loud, crisp, clear and precise...
no desire to go any louder and announce to the public of what is in my truck for those prospective thieves.
wish the satellite receivers were smaller and cheaper i'd be set... lol..
oh and the Pioneer digital 5.1 sound processor and it would be just perfect.
Mine is stock. But dont know what i want.

Pioneer HU AVH-P3100DVD, Autotek 66 (16 yrs old and still bangin)on the door components which are Pioneer TS-D720C's-front and rear, Hifonics Brutus BXi1610-D on tow MA Audio DVC 10's in a custom box I did myself-fiberglass floor contours, the rest is wood except for the baskets that the subs are in (top of box goes all the way to bottom of seats), and they are glassed also.
Now, all of this is purchased and waiting on one more delivery (Dynamat and 3 farad cap). All that is actually in the truck now is factory 6 disc, factory door speakers, a l-o-c, and the Autotek on the MA's. Once the rest is delivered, tearing into the whole interior. Oh yeah, I got the Scosche install kit for the dash. Like I said, waiting on one more delivery, and some decent weather!!
